A new website is currently in development, but was announced last night at the annual "Making The Transition" workshop held at Wilson Central High School. The website will become a clearinghouse for information to help parents navigate all of the services and opporutnities for their children with special needs.
The website is being authored by a group of new Special Education teachers graduating from Cumberland University as part of their new understanding of wanting to be proactive in their chosen careers.
The website will feature material for parents, referrals to other websites and services provided across the state of Tennessee and contact information for parents, as well as teachers, to help locate services or providers.
